Our races wouldn’t be possible without the energy and dedication of volunteers. By joining our team, you’ll help create unforgettable race day experiences for runners and walkers in our community. From passing out medals to cheering at aid stations, there’s a role for everyone!

Why Volunteer?

Volunteer Roles

• Packet Pickup: Distribute race packets and answer participant questions.

• Course Monitor: Keep the course safe by guiding participants and redirecting traffic. Bring signs, pom-poms, music, or costumes to cheer on runners!

• Aid Station: Hand out water and keep the course clean by collecting discarded cups and bottles. Creative costumes and loud encouragement welcome!

• Finish Line Photographer: Capture finish line moments (camera provided).

• Course Photographer: Snap great shots along the route (bring your own camera).

• Lead Bike: Ride ahead of runners to guide the course (must bring your own bike and helmet).

• Race Sweeper Walk or jog at the back of the pack to ensure no participant is left behind. You’ll be the last finisher, supporting safety and encouragement for all.

• Finish Line Volunteer: Set up awards, hand out medals, and share results. All finish line volunteers receive a free entry to a future LaceUp Running Company race!
